How to take Colosan, Colosan Capsules, Oxy-Powder and Homozon

Four products

1) How much should I take?

Too often our customers take the dosages on the labels literally, rather than as guidelines. With all of these products, please adjust the dosages depending on your reaction. Use your common sense!

2) Colosan Powder

The recommended dosage is a heaped teaspoon 1-2 times per day. This is fine if your intention is to do a strong bowel purge or you are severely constipated, but if you only want to gently loosen the bowels, one rounded teaspoon once per day is usually enough. For some people even half or quarter of a teaspoon is sufficient.

3) Homozon

May be taken in exactly the same way as Colosan Powder.

4) Colosan Capsules

The label recommends the consumption of 6 capsules 3 X per day for an initial cleansing period of 7 days. Please note this is a high dosage and is too strong for a lot of people. For someone who only weighs 8 or 9 stone, this would leave him or her going to the toilet a lot! However if you are using the product as a stool softener or for gentle relief of constipation rather than bowel cleansing, it is unlikely you will need to take such a high dosage and 1-3 capsules per day will probably be enough.

5) Oxy-Powder

Basically the advice we give is the same as with Colosan Capsules. The label suggests 4 capsules per day for 7 days. But as with Colosan Capsules, if you just want to pleasantly loosen the bowels, 1 -3 capsules per day are sufficient in most cases. The label suggests taking it last thing at night. If you do this please make sure to take it at least 4 hours after your evening meal when your stomach is empty. You may prefer to take it tirst thing in the morning, 60 minutes before any food is taken instead. This will prevent your tummy rumbling all night, which a few customers have complained has been a problem for them.

6) When To Take With Lemon Juice

When taking Colosan Powder or Homozon, please read the instructions on the label regarding taking lemon juice (limes are equally acceptable). This can be taken neat or diluted. If citrus disagrees with you, one can also use a teaspoon of diluted apple cider vinegar.

7) When You Don't Need Lemon Juice.

You don’t need the lemon juice with Colosan Capsules or Oxy-Powder as they already contain citric acid, but it does strengthen the effect if you have a low level of stomach acid.

8) Overdosing.

You cannot overdose on these products on any dosage, but the more you take, the more it will open your bowels.

9) Take on an Empty Stomach.

Please note that these products should only be taken on an empty stomach, with lots of water (a minimum of one large glass) with no food or juice consumed for about 45-60 minutes or more afterwards.

10) Which product is the best?

No one product is the best. Regardless of what your friend or practitioner has told you, the one which is best, is the one that works best for you. Although they are very similar, we quite often receive reports that one product worked better for that individual than another one that they tried. So if you don’t like your reaction to any of these products we strongly urge you to try one of the others and see if it works better for you.

11) General Health.

These products are much more than just laxatives. Their primary function is to oxygenate the body, and doing this will improve every aspect of your overall health. The bowel opening could almost be described a side effect of their main benefit. You do not need to follow the suggestion to take the products every 2-3 days. For optimal health, you can use these products every day on an ongoing basis if you want to.
